  • http://www.11.be/ – Search for non-governmental organisations by keyword or name. Use the links to learn more about NGOs in Flanders. Look at the agenda to participate in events.
  • http://www.bouworde.be/ - Holiday camps, volunteer work, EVS, building work camps. You can find an online registration form and available locations. There is also a forum (obligatory but free and easy registration) where you can read the experiences of others. The website is partly in English.
  • http://www.btcctb.org/ - With this Voluntary service for development cooperation (VDOS) young people form the age of 20, with a maximum of 2 years working experience, can be send out to work in one of the partner countries of Belgian development cooperation. Candidates that are selected can get a contract for minimum 1 year,that can be extended 2 times.
  • http://www.conseildelajeunesse.be/ - Site of the Youth Council of the French speaking Community of Belgium where you find a list of the recognised youth organisations. See the news pages to discover their activities.

It provides information on jobs, traineeships and how to start your own business. Test yourself on your entrepreneurial capabilities and read the experiences of others.
  • http://www.ecovolunteer.be/ – Do you have a passion for nature? Travel as an Ecovolunteer; you’ll be protecting nature throughout the world.
  • http://www.espace-citoyen.be/ - The purpose of this site, created by the research department “Gouvernance et Démocracie-Conseils”, is to provide citizens with information and explanations about what is justice actually. The site is also a discussion room where people can debate on themes related to justice.
  • http://www.gostrange.be/ - General information and useful addresses for going abroad. You can also download the information. A must for anyone who is going abroad.
  • http://www.inforjeunes.be/ – Site of the Federation of Infor Jeunes Wallonia-Brussels (Youth information centres) where you can download the “Studying in Belgium” file with information for european and non european youngsters.
  • http://www.jac.be/ – Use the contact addresses to find the nearest Youth Advisory Centre. Most of the Centres offer free or low-cost legal advice and can help you to find your way through all the information.
  • http://www.jint.be/ – Jint works to coordinate international youth work and policy. Information on projects and experiences, and an online database with possible organisations for exchanges or volunteering abroad. An ideal website to start with.
  • http://www.kamiel.info/ – All about the paperwork you have to do before going abroad for studying, working or volunteering.
  • http://www.siep.be/ – Service of Information about studies and jobs website (Service d’Information sur les Etudes et Professions): association giving information about study, job and training courses within Wallonia and Brussels. Many publications and fares.
  • http://www.verkiezingssite.be/ – Portal site about elections, with explanations of the electoral system. Compare the viewpoints of all the different political movements and look at the various campaigns and materials.
  • http://www.wep.be/index.php – Would you like to discover the world? WEP offers you possibilities to work, live, study or volunteer in different projects all over the world.
  • http://www.yfu.be/ - Offers young people the possibility to go abroad through exchanges, work camps, studying abroad and volunteering. In addition to information on the organisation, you can find an overview of all the different projects, how to plan an information session, ask for information online or download relevant leaflets. There is a link to the version for the French speaking community.
