Published in Business Skills on June 7, 2010
This Ted talk has more to do with the connection part then the leadership. However it has a clear link to personal leadership; the art of finding out what your values are; what your passion is and creating your life according to them.
I personally find this talk extremely inspiring and makes me reflect about the system we have been creating together in society.
Sir Ken Robinson:

Enjoy!!

ey man, if only such thoughts of rethinking education and its manner of presentation wa present in South Africa, I find that education may stay relevant but the means of delivery are outdated. If there could be more research on the methodology, education would be as it was in many countries, honestly what worked the last decade will not work now, for instance you and i are way more intelligent or rather know more than those who were are age during the last decade…as education needs to say current and pro-active so should its methodology.
Thank you for the video! As I am interested in Education I watched some of Ted already.
I really wish the Education debate stablished in my country as well as crisis is.
We need to exploit natural talents of each one in order to have valuable people. If everybody is taught in the same way and with the same things, we are waster our human capital.
Wonderfully humorous as well
The fundamental idea of educating the entire being and not just aiming to produce identical beings with a certain type of intelligence. I completely agree that human communities depend upon a diversity of talent, not a singular perception of ability.
THEREFORE the importance of creativity…
Has anyone had inspiring teachers that valued and taught creativity?
Elise, about your question… I don’t remember any. But there should have, only that I had loads of others and now I cannot remember.
