Interesting meetings and talks are happening at the moment. Let me share what has happened since my last time agenda setting and share some of the entrepreneurial thinking around GEF and nice people you meet on the way:

# Next week I am going to pitch the idea of the Social Business Startup Camp (SBSC) in Cologne at the CSCP un-conference on Future of Sustainable Lifestyles and Entrepreneurship – this is pretty exciting, we are looking forward to collect some feedback on our concept!

# As well we are doing some SBSC media works – expect more news soon. And, just in case you missed it, here is a relatively recent interview on the process and progress online available at http://vimeo.com/22078444.

# After Cologne I am heading to Beograd to discuss Social Media and the Future of Web at the European New Media Summer School and the EuroDIG 2011 conference – this is pretty exciting in regard to the topics covered. Meet me at the EuroDIG in WS2: Participation and development and WS6: Digital literacy and skills towards economic and social development

# Just a couple of weeks ago I joined the Young Advisers Group to European Commission VP Neelie Kroes on the Digital Agenda. AND save the date: the first Digital Agenda Assembly is taking place mid-June – you can find me in the Workshop “Social networks, a driver for economic and political change?” and around Brussels.

# Since a couple of days I am reading the mailing list to the Federated Social Web 2011 – “A three day open event on Social Web interoperability, standards and privacy”. I am going to attend in a couple of weeks. And one interesting concept I liked from this list (not sure how representative it is for the email list topics) is the “moneyless” lifestyle: http://wiki.gifteconomy.org/Lifestyle_Gift_Economists and http://moneyless-world.info – I like the interaction based element in the idea

# I built an aggregator – http://tbsmartens.30dna.com collects my RSS feeds and should be relatively up-to-date to catch my online activities. Feels for me a little bit like saying: I did fire or so (my geek unfun humor).

You see, some interesting things are happening this year J What have been your projects been? And ideas to go?
