Dear GreEn Community,

Hello and welcome to the latest (and long overdue!) GEF GreEn Forum Newsletter.

A lot’s happened in the last six months!

After the Co-creation Workshop in Brussels in December, we all discovered the BIG gap between talking about ‘entrepreneurship’ and being entrepreneurial.

So, that in mind, we have an honest interview with Tobias Martens on his experience so far and some profound reflections on the workshop from Didem Uygen.

The workshop prompted a reworking of the GreEn framework, which Nick Payne has now visualised. Your feedback on both is critical!

Here at GEF Global HQ, numerous exciting collaborations are emerging for the GreEn Forum – such as with UNESCO! As a result, the Forum will once again take centre stage in our co-creation.

The more you can generate shared learning, the more chance we have of accessing more and better opportunities for young GreEn Forum leaders.

GREEN FRAMEWORK DOCUMENT

When we talk about Green Entrepreneurship, or GreEn as we call it, we think of it as being green to the power of action. GreEn is a mind-set which can best be encompassed by the four Ps.: Planet, Personal, People and Profit.

We believe that the challenges of our world today require us to apply the Four P’s test to all that we do in our lives at home and at work. This attitude of positive action, effecting change in small “individual” steps, as inspirational actors, and then joining up the dots to create massive change, is what the GreEn Forum, hosted by Generation Europe Foundation, set out to facilitate. CHANGE? IT’S EVERYWHERE

I am so happy that I remembered that today is the equinox – although it may not be when you read this!

Usually I forget and remember the day after. It makes me happy to think that only twice a year are the day and night of the same length (unless you live on the equator!).
